APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST (REPORTING APPLICATIONS) , TARTU

 Job description:
- Database structure understanding and requested data generation/extraction from database according to requirements
- Ability to write good, optimized queries
- Query result testing by writing additional sql test-queries or verification through Playtech backend system
- Solving problems related to reports (optimization, permissions, modifications)
- Data generation directly from database (one-time query or from existing reports)
- Analysis and suggestions about improvements to DB structure

Requirements:
- Excellent SQL
- Excellent knowledge about queries tuning and optimization
- Good knowledge in PL/SQL
- Punctuality and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently
- Good problem solving skills
- Good time management skills
- Good English (written and spoken)

Beneficial skills
- Data warehouse knowledge
- Ability to read the PHP code written by others
- Ability to use Unix
- General knowledge about databases architecture and processes
